A glossary of words you will see in RestockPro and what they mean. Use ctrl+F (or command+F) to search for a term.
ASIN: Amazon Standard Item Number; Amazon's unique product identifier
ASIN Limit: Amazon-set limitation on how many units of this ASIN can be sent in
Buy Box Price: The most recently imported price of the current buy box offer
Case Pack: Number of units per case for a SKU that you buy in cases
Commission: Referral fee you pay Amazon for each sale, based on listing price
Cross Dock (legacy feature): A Restock Model and order type in which you ordered items from the supplier, received and prepared/stickered them, and shipped them to Amazon FBA. This is a legacy Restock Model that newer RestockPro accounts do not support. If your supplier ships items to your warehouse, a prep center, or any other location before you ship them to the Fulfillment Center, use the local Restock Model.
Demand: The predicted future sales for an item, based on the proven sales history and out of stock periods
Direct Ship: A Restock Model and Order Type in which you order items from the supplier, who ships them directly to Amazon FBA for you
EAN: European Article Number - A 13 digit (12 data and 1 check) barcoding standard which is a superset of the original 12-digit Universal Product Code (UPC) system
Estimated Margin %: An item's estimated margin as a percentage of its price
Estimated Margin: The estimated amount of money to be gained or lost on the sale of one unit of the SKU
Flags:
- Yellow: this item is below your set maximum QoH at Amazon
- Red: this item is below your set minimum QoH at Amazon
- Blue: new item
- Purple: this is out of stock
FNSKU: Amazon's identifier for FBA product. If the first character is an X, the item requires a sticker.
Kits: Anything you sell on Amazon in a configuration that’s different from the manufacturer’s. Multi-packs and bundles are kits.
Local: A Restock Model in which you maintain your own local supply for the item. RestockPro will suggest when to replenish your local supply, as well as when to ship local items into Amazon FBA.
Markup: The amount you add to the cost price of goods to cover overhead and profit
On Order: Quantity that is on one or more sent POs which has not been received
POs: Purchase orders
Restock Model: The way you typically replenish a product, either Direct (if the items go straight from the supplier/manufacturer to the Amazon Fulfillment Center) or Local (if the items stop somewhere else for prep or storage before going to FBA).
Restock Need: Quantity needed at Amazon to reach Target Days. Does not take into account supplier factors or local/on order quantities
SKU: Merchant SKU or unique identifier for a product
Suggested Reorder: Quantity to reorder from your product source. This number includes additional units to account for lead time.
Suggested Ship: Quantity to ship from your local warehouse to Amazon. This number includes additional units to account for lead time.
UPC: Universal Product Code; a barcode symbology widely used in many countries for tracking trade items in stores
Var Closing: A fee that only applies to media products
Velocity: The historical average per day sales. For example, 7-day Velocity = 7-day Sales divided by 7
Weight: Packaged weight of the product
